Website terms

About these terms

These terms apply to your use of tollensltd.co.uk, the website of Tollens. The website is operated by TOLLENS LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under number 17008039.

By using the Tollens website you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

Using the website

Tollens makes this website available free of charge so that people can learn about the studio and its games.

You may view, print and link to public pages on tollensltd.co.uk for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You must not try to gain unauthorised access to the Tollens website or the systems that host it, introduce malicious code, overload the service with automated requests, or use the site in any way that breaks the law.

Tollens may suspend or restrict access to the website for maintenance, security or legal reasons, and will try to keep any interruption short.

Information on the website

Tollens takes reasonable care to keep the website accurate, but its content is general information and may change without notice.

Descriptions of Tollens games, features and supported devices reflect the position when they were written.

Nothing on tollensltd.co.uk is an offer to supply a product, and website content does not form part of any contract between you and TOLLENS LTD.

Our games and app stores

Tollens games are distributed through Google Play. When you download or buy a Tollens game, the Google Play terms of service govern the download, any payment and any refund.

Each Tollens game listing, together with that game's own privacy policy on tollensltd.co.uk, describes what the game does and what information it uses.

If a Tollens game has its own terms, those terms apply to the game as well as these website terms. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

Intellectual property

The text, graphics, logos, layout and code of the Tollens website belong to TOLLENS LTD or are used with permission.

You may not use the Tollens name or marks in a way that suggests endorsement by, or a connection with, TOLLENS LTD without our written permission.

Except as the law allows, nothing in these terms gives you a licence to copy, adapt or redistribute the Tollens website or any Tollens game.

Links to other websites

The Tollens website links to services run by others, such as Google Play and Companies House.

Tollens has no control over those services and is not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. A link from tollensltd.co.uk does not mean we endorse the linked site.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability of TOLLENS LTD that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence and liability for fraud.

Subject to that, Tollens is not liable for loss arising from use of the website, from reliance on its content or from the website being unavailable.

The Tollens website is provided for domestic and private use. If you use it for business purposes, TOLLENS LTD is not liable to you for loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.

Privacy and cookies

How Tollens handles personal data is explained in our privacy policy, and the limited use of browser storage is described in our cookie notice.

Accessibility

Tollens aims to keep tollensltd.co.uk readable with assistive technology, with sufficient colour contrast, logical headings and text that can be enlarged.

If any part of the Tollens website is difficult for you to use, please tell us and we will try to provide the information in another way.

General

If a court decides that part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest of the Tollens terms will continue to apply.

If TOLLENS LTD does not enforce a right straight away, it can still enforce that right later.

Changes to these terms

Tollens may revise these terms from time to time, for example when a new game is released or the website changes.

The version and effective date at the top of this page show when the Tollens terms last changed, so please check them when you return.

Governing law

These Tollens terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes about them are subject to the courts of England and Wales.

If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings about the Tollens website in your local courts.
